Cancellations
You can cancel your booking free of charge up to seven days before arrival. For late cancellations, the full amount of the booking will be charged
Check-in
Check-in takes place at Muta House, located at Via Strettola San Vincenzo, 8 - Sorrento, between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
Late check-in is not possible.
At check-in, all guests must present a valid ID, and the City Tax (€4 per person per night) must be paid in cash.

Check-out
Check-out must be completed by 10:00 AM
Breakfast
Muta House does not serve breakfast, as it is a guesthouse. However, there are several cafés and pastry shops just a few minutes’ walk from the property
Luggage Storage
You can store your luggage for free at the reception of the Musebottega della Tarsialignea (MUTA) at Via San Nicola, 28 - Sorrento (about 100 meters from Muta House). Luggage can be stored on the day of arrival and departure from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Muta House does not have a reception, only guest rooms
Parking
Muta House does not have a private parking area. The closest parking options are Parcheggio Ulysse (Via del Mare) and Parcheggio Stinga (Via degli Aranci). We recommend parking your car before check-in, as the property is located in the historic center of Sorrento, within the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone)
Museum
All Muta House guests can visit the Musebottega della Tarsialignea (MUTA) at Via San Nicola, 28 - Sorrento (about 100 meters from the property) for free. The museum is open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Beach
Muta House is a 5-minute walk from Marina Grande, the fishermen’s village, where you’ll find Sorrento’s only free public beach. It is also about a 10-minute walk from Riviera di San Francesco, which is accessible through Villa Comunale and offers only private beach clubs.
How to Get Here
- From Naples Capodichino Airport:
A Curreri shuttle bus connects the airport to Sorrento in just over an hour. Tickets (€10) can be purchased on board. The bus stops in front of the Sorrento Circumvesuviana train station, about a 20-minute walk from Muta House - From Naples Central Station:
Take the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento (last stop). The journey takes approximately
1 hour and 10 minutes. The Sorrento Circumvesuviana station is about 20 minutes on foot from Muta House - From Naples by ferry:
High-speed ferries depart from Molo Beverello and take 40 minutes to reach Sorrento. From the port of Sorrento, we recommend taking the elevator (which stops at Villa Comunale) and then walking about 10 minutes to Muta House
